“IF.......’
If I was Ocean
I would make some lotions
If I was Ocean
I would make lots of potions
If I was Ocean
I would read Devotions
If I was Ocean
I would have a head full of notions
If I was Ocean
I would have a smile on my face
I would read Devotions
If I was Ocean
I would have a head full of notions
If I was Ocean
I would put a smile on her face

Frank Epperson's Invention the Popsicles.

Template: Biography
Frank Epperson invented the Popsicles, ice-blocks in 1905, thanks to Epperson's invention we can now have a tasty treat to cool us down.
Frank Epperson was born in 1894 and raised in San Fransisco, he died in 1983.When he was 11 years of age he accidentally made the ice blocks when he left his soda on the porch overnight. When he was about 29 years of age he applied for a patent for his frozen ice on stick. He sold his first ice blocks to the company Joe Lowe in New York.
Frank finally introduced his creation at the Alameda Amusement park in 1923.
Frank Epperson's invention now has lots of different flavours and are different shapes and colours. Ice blocks also cool us down on hot sunny days and is enjoyed by children all around the world. You could even make them yourself. My favorite flavour is strawberry.

The Martin Jetpack
Glen Martin invented the 'Martin Jet Pack' he named it after himself. 5000ft above sea level was how high the jetpack flew. At 2000 feet the parachute came out and helped the jetpack come to the ground safely. The jet pack can go out and save people better than a helicopter because it can go places where a helicopter can't. They tested the jetpack in Ashburton and it was piloted by a remote control with a crash-test dummy in the pilot position. They tested with the dummy first then then the person second. The jetpack uses the super fan to get it airborne.

My Letter Home
Dear Mum
How are you? Hope you are well. I want you to know how well I am in school.
At school we have Blogs, Net books and Camp.
My Behaviour is not so bad and I have a lot of friends and at school we are doing KFC, but not Kentucky Fried Chicken .... it's 'Kids Fitness Club!' I haven’t been yet, but some of my friends go and they say it is heaps of fun!
In class we learn Maths, Reading and we watch PENN,
the sports we have is soccer, rugby, netball.

My thoughts about camp..

“YAH” camp is coming up i gotta to get packing. Next week on Monday we have camp. I am so looking forward to camp. The name for the camp is 'Take Charge!', and the name of our group is the 'Moderatorz'.
On the first day of camp we had to put up our tent. Rose and I put our tent up together because she was my partner. After that we had to go to the street and help do the hangi. when we got there we had to peel some potato and some carrots and also make some stuffing. If you want to make some stuffing you have to get some bread and rub it in your hands so you can get some little bits.
After that we had to get change into our togs and walk down to the Pt England reserve. When we got there we had to go down and sit on the sand so Mr Burt can tell us were we can go on the kayak. There were two different kayaks, a double and a single. When Mr Burt finished talking me and Paulitia went on the double kayak.
If you are in the front you have to control the paddling and if you are at the back you have to keep in time with the person in the front. When we finish on the kayak, Mr Brut said that we could go for a swim after we finishes. We all said thank you Mr Burt then we went to go back to school.
